Hazel Court provides a unique independent living opportunity for adults and young people from 16+ who need support, routine and guidance to help them enjoy and achieve realistic goals. They offer tenancies and support packages to vulnerable people with Complex Needs, Mental Health Issues, Learning Disabilities, Care Leavers, Autistic Spectrum, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties, Homeless and Asylum seekers and Teenage Mothers and Babies. There is full access for wheelchairs or prams with a purpose made lift to the first floor.

There 13 Apartments which are all furnished to a very high degree and are all self contained, even down to letter boxes on the Apartment doors. There is a full 24 hour continuous support on hand from a qualified and experienced staff team.

Hazel Court provides extensive projects that run throughout the day these for example: Cookery classes, Gardening and Outdoor Pursuits, there are many other projects available on request. Members of staff have been carefully selected for their ability to meet the needs of vulnerable young people/ adults providing an excellent quality of care and support at all times.

Being based in the heart of the North of England Hazel Court has access to excellent transport and road links. I do strongly recommend that you may take to visit Hazel Court.

I was very impressed with the referbishment and standards of flats/ accommodation that will be available to young people. I was also impressed with the enthusiasum and dedication of the management and their passion for supporting a very vulnerable group of young people.

Highly organised systems/ procedures seem to be in place especially around the assessment of young person and ongoing monitoring and reviewing of young persons progress.

I look forward to re-visiting the provision once the young people are benefitting from this service.

The house is well equipped to accommodate a different range in the field of care, the rooms are simply superb, there is plenty of scope and opportunities for young people to grow and achieve. The highly qualified staff will give the young people care and attention they deserve I can only see a great success.

This is a great resource which offers many opportunities. The potential for offering practical support is huge and hopefully it will be a very successful adventure for everyone.

The staff are welcoming and friendly, I’m sure the clients will not want to leave !

Facitlity is great and very cosy, I like the fact that it can be adapted for chair users, friendly and knowledgeable staff as well.
